- DCDan ClarkMay 18, 20262.0Visited the drive thru for breakfast around 10:00 AM on Monday, May 18th. Overall, it was a very mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was your typical McDonald’s standard, exactly what I paid for, with no complaints. The service was also very quick, and the lady at the second window who handed over my food was super nice and friendly. We need more staff like her! Unfortunately, the experience was really let down by the older lady working the first window (taking orders and payments). She was incredibly dry and sounded noticeably frustrated with me over the speaker. When I pulled up to pay, she just said "£6.19 please" and stared at me. I was waiting to tap my card, McDonald's usually uses a card reader on a handle here, but instead of explaining that I needed to use the yellow machine built into the window, she just gave me dirty looks, rudely pointed at it, and snapped "pay then". She actively avoided eye contact for the rest of the transaction. Quick food and a lovely hand off at the end, but the incredibly rude attitude at the payment window completely soured the visit.

Have visited on numerous occasions over the years and Certainly food and service has taken a dip. More often than not foodstuffs not as ordered.
